Pattern Description:
This is an *easy pattern from New Look, that comes with 5 views (basically all slight variations of the same thing). I made a modified view B

Pattern Sizing:
Seems to be regular. The envelope back gives finished hip measurements, which was very handy.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
yes, except for my modifications

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Super easy! I am a very novice sewist, and I found this extremely easy to complete. There is even a section where all of the diagrams are explained, e.g. the grain line, etc. The only thing beginners may have trouble with is the gathering. The pattern actually explains how to do the gathering, except they neglect to say "pull on the bobbin thread" to make the gathers.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I loved this pattern! The only thing I didn't like is that it is designed to fit one inch below your natural waist, and I wanted it low-waisted. However, even for a rank beginner like me, that was an easy fix (I used a bigger pattern size, because my hips were a size 16 anyway, and shorted the yoke piece by making a wider casing for the elastic). The other thing people should be careful of is the length. I wanted it just below the knees, and unhemmed with only 2 tiers, it comes to just below my knees! Some of this is due to the fact that I am wearing it low, but I think it would be longer than I wanted even if worn 1 inch below the waist. Again, though, this is an easy fix, just either cut some off, or hem it at more than 5/8". The pattern directions are super easy, the pieces were rectangular and therefore easy to cut out, it came together very quickly, and it's quite forgiving of small mistakes (not gathered perfectly, seams don't quite line up, but you can't even tell!) It's also flattering on (unfortunately, I couldn't take a good picture with it on, but I'll try again if people demand it!)

Fabric Used:
I used 3 different fabrics, because I was just using what I had lying around. They were all rather lightweight cotton and unfortunately the top two are see-through, so I think I'll have to use this as pajamas (I made the elastic loose and it's very comfy!) or a bathing suit coverup.

Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made:
I actually made quite a few changes. I used three different fabrics, I didn't add on the 3rd tier (the top piece is the "yoke" not the first tier) and I picked a bigger size so that it would fit lower on my waist. I also left off the lace and rickrack.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would absolutely sew it again and I would recommend it to anyone who likes the tiered skirts, especially beginning sewists who need a confidence boost! I am so slow at sewing, and I was able to complete this in one day. I will sew it again and try view C, and try making view B with all the same fabric (and none see through, so that I can actually wear it!)

Conclusion
I love this pattern and I feel like even with my beginning skills, this is something I could be proud of wearing in public. (well, once I make a non-see-through version!)
